DESCRIPTION:MON 26 OCT\, 5PM Zombie Anonymous is a short Zomedy flick written and directed by a group of young people from Skelmersdale. The story follows Wendy who runs a local Zombie focus group. Classes are designed to help her fellow biters make a more positive contribution to society. \nTrouble is… she’s human\, annoying and doesn’t quite understand the turmoil and issues these Zombies face. Tired of Wendy’s constant bullying\, the group decide to take action and show Wendy the true joys of being a flesh eating corpse. Aspiring young filmmakers have been attending workshops at Skelmersdale Library\, working on all aspects of filmmaking from script to screen\, set-design to prosthetic make-up and all in-between. Award winning filmmaker James Shaw has been facilitating the workshops to help the group bring their vision to life (or death!).

And this time\, he’s bringing his Dad.” We want to invite you to our special\, double screening of Steven Spielberg’s 1989 adventure classic: ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’ in the usually sealed off basement of the Harris Museum & Art Gallery. Portable Projection is all about taking otherwise overlooked venues and using them as a space to present free cinema screenings for all ages. With our latest outing we wanted to ensure that we could create the cinema experience you’d expect from a multiplex such as Vue or ODEON\, but combine it with a twist or two… Making up just a fragment of this years Blaze Festival\, our showing of ‘Temple of Doom’ is going to encourage you to dress up in your best 1930’s outfit\, and show the Harris Museum & Art Gallery in a way that it’s never been shown before! \n\nFirst screening – 10:30am – 1pm\nSecond screening – 1pm – 4pm\n\nAll that we’ll say is ‘welcome to England’.
