Are you currently unemployed and interested in working in social media?
We’ve signed up to the government’s Kickstart Scheme which funds six month placements for 16 – 24 year olds on universal credit who are at risk of long term unemployment due to the global pandemic.
This new role will focus on developing Blaze’s online profile and creating digital content that is more useful, inspiring and relevant for our followers. The Social Media and Marketing Creative will also keep Blaze’s website up to date and take responsibility for creating and distributing e-newsletters. There might also be the opportunity to create video content and write blogs if this is something you are interested in doing.
This placement provides the opportunity to develop marketing, digital and audience development skills that can be applied in a range of sectors. We’ll provide free training and mentoring to support you in the role.
You must be aged 16 – 24 and in receipt of universal credit to apply. If you are interested and would like more information, speak to your Work Coach at your local Job Centre to check your eligibility and ask them to refer you to the Social Media and Marketing Creative placement advertised by Curious Minds. The successful applicant will be employed by Curious Minds and seconded to Blaze for the duration of the placement.
